The 'Cat'

At the end of March 2006 my mum did something very nice and sweet - she picked up an extremely sick cat on a steer. She brought him home, fed, and took him to the wets. They washed him and treated him for about 5 hours. She had to go to the wets every day for the next 10 days for treatments! The cat was very ill, and vets said that it can take anything from 2-3 months to a year for the cat to fully recover. But there was no guarantee that he ever will.
The more tests and treatments they did, the more problems they were uncovering.

In the end, after almost 2 weeks, the vets decided that it was very dangerous to keep the cat in a house, and it could not be kept anywhere where there is a possibility of a contact with other animans, and even humans.

On 4th April 2006 the cat was put to sleep :-( Of cause it is VERY sad, but he was danger not only to other animals, but to humans as well...
